Common faults of custom universal joints transmission are abnormal noise and jitter caused by increased swimming angle.

For rear drive vehicles:

1. Universal joints and telescopic joints: when the car starts or the speed changes suddenly, the transmission device makes a "croak" sound; when the car slows down, the universal joints device makes a "croak, croak" sound. It may be that the universal joint bearing is loose due to wear or impact; the expansion joint spline of the drive shaft is loosened due to wear or impact; the connecting bolt of the universal joint flange plate is loose.

2. Transmission shaft noise: When the universal joints and expansion joints are in good technical condition, the transmission shaft will make periodic noises when the car is running; the faster the speed, the louder the noise, and the more serious the car body will shake, even holding the steering wheel 'S hands are numb. It may be due to the bending of the transmission shaft or the depression of the shaft tube; the transmission shaft tube and the universal joint fork are not aligned or the transmission shaft is not dynamically balanced; the balance plate on the transmission shaft is missing; the expansion joint is not installed according to the mark, so that the transmission shaft is lost Balance, and may cause the forks at both ends of the drive shaft to not be on the same plane; the fixing bolts of the intermediate support hanger or the connecting bolts of the universal joint flange plate are loose, which makes the position of the drive shaft skewed; the rubber clamping type intermediate support fastening method Improper, causing the front end of the intermediate drive shaft to deviate from the original axis.

3. Intermediate support ringing: A continuous "beep and buzzer" noise is produced when the car is running. The faster the car speed, the greater the noise. It may be due to delamination, pitting, excessive wear or lack of oil in the rolling bearing; improper installation of the intermediate support, causing the rolling bearing to bear additional load; the rubber ring is damaged; the frame is deformed.

For front-wheel drive vehicles:

1. Vibration during driving: The vehicle body shakes during driving. It may be deformed due to the half shaft.

2. Abnormal sound when steering direction: "Quick" or "chuckle" sound when steering, especially when walking in the general direction. Generally, it is caused by abrasion and lack of oil in the half shaft cage.

3. Abnormal noise during driving: abnormal noise is emitted at the half shaft during driving. precision universal joint mostly occurs in the inner ball cage and is caused by dry oil in the ball cage.
