Gumusservi (Turkish) moonlight shining on the water, Yuputka (Ulwa) A word made for walking in the woods at night, it’s the phantom sensation of something crawling on your skin, Pana Po’o (Hawaiian) It means to scratch your head in order to help you remember something you’ve forgotten.

That just goes to show how lacking the english language is in terms of the beauty of words. The word is full of languages and most of us don't know even half of them.

We don't have to learn a language to learn its words, we can open a book from a different land and find a word you and I don't know and search it up, you've learnt a word without having learnt the language.

Though i have directed this article to more foriegn words i think I should give the english language some credit, Petrichor, A pleasant, distinctive smell frequently accompanying the first rain after a long period of warm, dry weather in certain regions, Vellichor the strange wistfulness of used bookstores
